Spent, But Not--Like--Money

I'm so clever I make no sense even to myself.

What I meant in the previous post is that "I spent this week doing nothing important." See? Money is just a metaphor. I really spent time, and lots of it, and not very well. I didn't spend lots of money. I didn't steal a credit card. My car is fine.

I feel like my week was somewhat wasted. That's all I was saying.

See?

[Insert Charlie Brown crying "Rats!" here.]

Grab Bag of a Spent Week

I spent this week. Oh, there was a little investing going on, and some saving, perhaps a little analysis, but primarily I spent like a newly-twenty-one-year-old in a liquor store with his girlfriend's "borrowed" credit card. (Unaware that, when the bill arrives, she will become his ex-girlfriend, and he will also have two ex-rear tires the day before he needs to drive back home for the holidays.)

I've added more to The Paper Midnight, but have no idea if I'll continue it beyond this draft.
